| This is where you'll find out a little bit about my site and it's functions, why it exists, how it all comes together, outside resources I've used, that sort of thing. You don't have to actually read any of it. I don't think anybody ever does, but this stuff needed a page anyway. | |

| About BluStyle: The purpose behind this website |
|
| BluStyle.net is my personal portfolio, it serves as a collection of the
various different mediums I work with. The purpose of this site is to archive all my creations, even the stupid ones, so that I have a big fancy portfolio for art college. This page also is for my designing company, so that the public can see just how many different services I have to offer. Everything on the site, from the graphics, the webpages, the coding, & the artwork, was all designed and created by me. The domain of blustyle.net was first launched in early 2006, but I've been experimenting with codes and teaching myself how to design websites since the late 90's and drawing for almost my entire life. Everything I've done on this site was, with the exception of the woodwork, metal work, and software in my Misc area, completely self taught; I taught myself HTML and CSS, I taught myself how to draw, I'm teaching myself animation, etc. |

| About Blu: The webmaster and artist behind this project |
|
| My internet name is Blumchen, so "Blu" is a shortened form of that. I think most people know what a blumchen is, so I won't bother going into it. I am 24 years old and reside in the Vancouver area of BC, Canada. I'm naturally an introvert, very intellectual, art consumes my life, and I'm a bit of a geek. I love robots, mechanics, spiders & insects, computers, coding, photoshop, and cats. I hate a lot of things, the main ones being centipedes, seafood, and winter. | |

| Resource Credits: Anything I didn't make but used is credited here (if possible!) |
|
| ♥ Brush Credit: niicedreems, liajedi, sugargirl14, enola, ♥ Scripts, Codes: dynamic drive, snafu ♥ Image Resources: 4chan, getty, stumbleupon, google, sxc.hu If I missed your credit, please let me know through email , so I can remedy the situation. I know I am missing a lot of brush resources, as I saved my brushset in one huge file when I had to reformat my computer last year, and the disk with the original zips was lost :( |

| Thanks: The people that kept me going |
|
| ♥ Catriana, for being a wonderful friend and supporting me through thick and thin.
She's been a wonderful friend to me for years and years, and I'm so grateful for
everything she's done for me. I love you, hun! ♥ All my talented graphic artist pals, for being inspiring and helpful. I wouldn't be half as good at anything I do without your wonderful work to inspire me. ♥ My lovely life partner. For ...everything :) |

| My Hosting: My hostess with the mostess |
|
| My hosting is provided by Mid via the-hunt.org :) Thanks, babe! I was previously hosted by Shaw Cable, I receive free webspace by being a customer, however my site grew too big and Mid took me in. My domain was bought through EZ-Domain, which is an excellent place to go if you just want to get a domain to forward to another website or you have hosting elsewhere and just want your nameservers to point to your domain. They had my domain up almost immediately, and I now have five domains with them. | |
| How'd you do that?: About how I made my site |
|
| My sites were built using Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Namo Web Editor, Adobe ImageReady, Notepad, and Jasc Animation Shop. And a whole lot of patience. Teaching myself how to design websites took many years, and I still have much to learn. | |
