Project #1 - Simple Metal Shelf

A little over a decade ago, I built a metal shelf for my CAPP class (back then, Capp was a lot different than it is today). The shelf was made from iron and aluminum, and was given to a friend of mine as a present. I have since lost touch with that friend, so I have no idea whether or not she still has the shelf, or I'd ask for a picture. So I did the best I could using photoshop. As demonstrated, the iron bar supports the light weight shelf and is nailed to the wall.

The shelf is roughly 9 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 0.7 inches in heigh (excluding the bars) The shelf itself was made with aluminum, a light weight but strong metal, and the bars supporting it are twisted black iron.

Project #2 - Electronics.

Unfortuntately I can't reconstruct a model of this project, and I don't recall us being allowed to keep them afterwards. After the shelf, we all had to make a miniature electronic device, complete with computer chips & soddering. The device had two buttons and a switch. The switch naturally turned the device on or off. One button alternated from a green light to a red one, and the other button made the two lights flicker either simultainiously or alternating. It was pretty cool, I wish I still had it.

Project #3 - Plain Ring.

example image only!

Some years later I had to build a ring. It was a plain, steel metal ring. I gave it to a good friend of mine who wore it on his pinky for a year before it disappeared.
